SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- After seeing the show, you may decide you want to learn some of the cool moves yourself! Well, kids and adults alike can also learn how to be a Cirque de Soleil acrobat this summer.

Cirque Éloize is also offering an exciting hands-on summer program. There will be both day and week-long intensive summer camps. This will allow young people and adults to experience professional training in the circus arts.

Participants will work with trained educators and performers in a safe environment. Organizers say there is no skill necessary and everyone is welcome.

"We're not expecting to make professional out of everybody. And what's cool about circus is, it's not competitive. If you have problem touching your toe, then maybe the acrobatic won't be your best fit. Maybe it will be the juggling. Then in juggling you'll be really good because you know how to separate the things in your brain. So for sure, it's open to everybody and by experience, everybody can find fun in this," said Nicolas Boivin-Gravel, camp instructor.

The camp will run in August, during the time that Cirque Éloize is in Schenectady. It will be held over three weeks.
